Job Summary

Based in Amman and working under the supervision of the Senior PSTE Quality Improvement Manager, the Pre-Service senior Coordinator will coordinate efforts to utilize international accreditation and incentives to drive performance improvement in Jordanian Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The senior coordinator will assist in is involves fostering strong partnerships with HEIs, overseeing improvements in relevance, quality, and access, and collaborating with policymakers. Additionally, the senior Coordinator will organize professional development opportunities for educators, administrators, and leaders, ensuring effective coordination and communication among stakeholders to achieve the objectives of quality improvement initiatives.

Performs additional duties and tasks to meet the needs of the organization, team, or as assigned by the manager.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Project management experience within large-scale initiatives.
  • Ability to analyze data and utilize findings to enhance decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead workshops and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Proven expertise in managing, organizing, analyzing, and leveraging data, with advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI, along with a demonstrated commitment to staying updated on emerging tools and applications in data analysis and management.
  • Must demonstrate valid proof of unrestricted work authorization in Jordan

Requirements:

  • A university degree in Education or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in program management and leading data analysis.
  • Proficiency in the use of educational technologies and tools, including AI tools for education.
  • Must demonstrate valid proof of unrestricted authorization to work in Jordan

Your Daily Tasks

  • Support efforts to build and strengthen strategic partnerships with Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), driving initiatives to enhance program relevance, quality, and accessibility.
  • Conduct regular visits to universities to monitor program implementation, gather feedback on technical needs, and assist the Senior PSTE Quality Improvement Manager in taking appropriate actions to ensure optimal program execution and data-driven decision-making.
  • Facilitate partnerships with local and international higher education institutions established by the PSTE team by documenting meetings and coordinating engagements with faculty members at partner universities.
  • Coordinate PSTE team efforts to deliver professional development for faculty, administrators, and leaders
  • Perform financial administration tasks, including tracking and reconciling program expenses, coordinating payment requests, and ensuring compliance with IREX policies and funder regulations.
  • Coordinate the implementation of sub-awards, contracts, vendor and consultant agreements, and other contractual and procurement aspects.
  • Manage program communication, including email inboxes, contact information, and written communications.
  • Ensure the effective integration of technologies and digital tools into program activities to improve outcomes and enhance overall effectiveness.
  • Assist universities in documenting academic program materials in accordance with accreditation guidelines and provide support in preparing for local and international accreditation visits.
  • Assist universities in collecting data on the effectiveness of practical training and the performance of their graduates in the educational field, ensuring data-driven insights for program improvement.
  • Prepare weekly, quarterly, and annual reports on the university's performance in project activities and provide recommendations to enhance their performance.
  • Coordinate with pre-service team members and partner universities to ensure consistent implementation of the program.
  • Assist in aligning pre-service and in-service activities by participating in data collection on the effectiveness of coursework in enhancing student-teachers' skills in teaching foundational skills, designing learning activities derived from school curricula, and monitoring the training of mentor teachers in the field.
  • Build robust relationships and deliver dependable, responsive support between IREX HQ staff, field office teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, fostering a positive and cohesive work environment to achieve shared project goals.
  • Facilitate communication between team members and different partners to sustain alignment and collaboration.
  • Play an active role in strategic planning, identifying funding opportunities, and supporting the expansion of project portfolios, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Perform other duties as required.
