IREX is seeking a MEL Data & Systems Manager to lead the way we capture, organize, and use data and evidence across our global portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of data systems, usability, and organizational learning—partnering with program teams, technical experts, and leadership to make MEL data consistent, accessible, and actionable.

This is not a theory-heavy evaluation role.

It’s a hands-on, systems-oriented position for someone who enjoys building practical tools, strengthening data quality, and helping diverse teams use data with confidence.

What You Bring to IREX

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in MEL, data management, or a related field
  • Proven experience managing or supporting quantitative data systems (databases, dashboards, large datasets)
  • Strong data skills using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Airtable, or similar
  • Experience supporting distributed teams with varying levels of MEL and data literacy
  • Excellent communication skills—able to explain data clearly to non-technical audiences
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A practical, problem-solving mindset focused on implementation and usability
  • Comfortable in matrixed environments, influencing via collaboration vs. authority
