Project description
The Hardap Regional Health Directorate in Namibia has requested the support of a Peace Corps Response Volunteer (PCRV) to serve as a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting Specialist. The Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS) in the Hardap Region is undertaking critical reforms to strengthen its community health service delivery system in alignment with a Primary Health Care (PHC) approach. Recognizing that equitable access to healthcare requires targeted outreach and robust data-driven systems, the region has prioritized the development of a Multi-Sectoral Community Health Service Delivery (CHSD) Model.
The MoHSS Hardap Region is seeking support in strengthening its Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) systems to align with both its strategic and annual planning priorities. This includes the development of an integrated M&E framework for the new CHSD Model, identification of key performance indicators (KPIs), and collaborative design of tools and data dashboards to ensure timely tracking of health trends. The PCRV will support not only technical development but also capacity strengthening, ensuring that community health cadres are equipped to gather, interpret, and use health and HIV data to inform targeted outreach and equitable service delivery.
