Project description
Green City Lab Moldova (GCL) has requested the support of a Peace Corps Response Volunteer (PCRV) to serve as an Environmental Education Specialist. GCL is a platform dedicated to promoting sustainable cities through projects focused on energy efficiency, waste management, sustainable urban mobility, and environmental education. One of the key identified priorities is sustainability education, with a focus on energy efficiency, responsible resource use, and waste reduction. While the organization has previously conducted educational activities on a case-by-case basis, there is now a clear need to structure and expand these initiatives in partnership with universities, schools, and other institutions.
The PCRV will work closely with the GCL team, educational institutions, and local partners to organize trainings, workshops, and awareness campaigns. The PCRV will also play a key role in developing and implementing GCL’s educational program, promoting energy efficiency, responsible waste management, and sustainable practices within communities.

Required Skills
- BA/BA in Education, Environmental Science or related field
- 2 or more years of experience facilitating environmental education programming and/or conservation education.
