Project description
The Namibian Society of Composers and Authors of Music (NASCAM) has requested the support of a Peace Corps Response Volunteer (PCRV) to serve as a Management and Organizational Strengthening Specialist. The Members and Distribution Department play a pivotal role in achieving visibility, credibility, and profitability among NASCAM's members. However, due to internal capacity constraints within the department, it has become challenging to effectively implement and execute the strategic key results.
The PCRV will collaborate with their counterpart to host workshops and seminars to help rights holders understand their rights and provide mentoring on how NASCAM can best support rights holders in adapting to digital platforms, such as streaming services and online licensing. The PCRV will also support collaboration efforts with government bodies and international organizations to strengthen rightsholders mobility and their marketability.

Required Skills
- BA/BS in relevant field including Social Science, Education, Business, Management and Organizational Development
- 3 or more years of technical expertise in organizational capacity development and training.
- Experience supporting strategic planning, results-based management and reporting.
- Strong interpersonal, team building, and communications skills.
- Ability to implement new systems and affect staff behavioral/attitudinal change.
- Professional experience in program management and/or monitoring and evaluation.
