Project description
The National Institute for Education and Leadership (INEL) in Moldova has requested the support of a Peace Corps Response Volunteer (PCRV) to serve as a Management and Organizational Strengthening Specialist. INEL was launched in February 2024 and aims to train 1,000 teacher mentors, to develop mentoring programs and partnerships for teaching practice, and to promote the profession of teachers among young people. INEL represents the government’s effort to align Moldova’s educational system to the European Union’s standards.
The PCRV will play a key role in mentoring and assisting INEL’s team to strengthen their capacity in organizational management, communication; monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning (MEAL); and strategic development. The PCRV will work closely with the INEL team, the Ministry of Education and Research, and other government institutions to share best practices and promising techniques.

Required Skills
- BA/BS in relevant field including Social Science, Education, Business, Management and Organizational Development
- 3 or more years of technical expertise in organizational capacity development and training.
- Experience supporting strategic planning, results-based management and reporting.
- Strong interpersonal, team building, and communications skills.
- Ability to implement new systems and affect staff behavioral/attitudinal change.
- Professional experience in program management and/or monitoring and evaluation.
