Activity/project background
World Vision Latin America and the Caribbean Regional Office (WVLACRO) requires specialized support in graphic design. Collaborating with a Virtual Service Pilot Participant (VSPP) on this engagement will strengthen the organization’s ability to effectively engage external audiences in its priority areas: child protection, psychosocial support, socioeconomic inclusion and livelihoods, food security and nutrition, and mental health.
The VSPP will support these objectives by working collaboratively with WVLACRO's External Engagement team to co-design, co-develop, and co-implement strategies and content that enhance the visibility and reach of WVLACRO’s initiatives. The VSPP will contribute their knowledge and expertise to the projects, programs, and activities that World Vision implements across the Latin America and Caribbean region within these thematic areas.
The organization has previously collaborated with the Peace Corps. They understand that the role of a VSPP is very different than a two-year Volunteer.
Engagement and tasks
The VSPP will engage in the following tasks, in collaboration with their Host Country Partners:
Online collaboration will generally occur between 9:00 a.m. - 06:00 p.m. Ecuador time. Specific times will be determined during orientation.
The Host Country Counterpart will have access to Zoom, Teams, and WhatsApp for regular communication and collaboration.
Per the Child Protection Code of Conduct, when engaging online with minors (0-18), two adults must be present.

The Peace Corps mission is to promote world peace and friendship by fulfilling three goals:

- Co-create visual assets for digital campaigns, social media, presentations, reports, and printed materials consistent with WVLACRO’s brand identity
- Co-develop brand and visual identity elements, including logos, iconography, and templates
- Co-design infographics and data visualizations that effectively convey complex information related to WVLACRO’s thematic areas
- Adapt global visual content for local relevance, ensuring alignment with regional cultural contexts
- Collaborate closely with the Content and SEO Specialist to ensure coherence between visual and written content for campaigns and initiatives

Essential Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communication, visual arts, or related field
Language: Advanced Spanish
Experience:
- 2 years in visual content creation for digital campaigns and branding
- Proficiency in graphic design tools similar to Adobe Suite and Canva
- Content Management System usage on platforms such as WordPress or HubSpot
