If you're passionate about education, language, and intercultural exchange, teacher training colleges in Rwanda invite you to help prepare active or student teachers.
In 2008, Rwanda adopted English as the national medium of instruction, marking a significant shift in its education system. However, the transition from French to English in classrooms is still relatively recent, and both teachers and students are working hard to build their confidence and fluency.
As a TEFL Teacher Trainer, you will ensure that primary school teachers are not only proficient in English but also effective in teaching the language. Your collaborative work will focus on strengthening both language proficiency levels and teaching capacities through hands-on support, creative engagement, and professional development.
Required Skills
Competitive candidates will have one or more of the following criteria:
Bachelor of Arts in Education, Library Sciences or other relevant field
OR
2 or more years of relevant work experience
